Data Summaries of CrossTalk Measurements and Precision Resistance Measurements for ft14

The cross talk is measured for the channels adjacent on the vacuum cable stripline to the pulsed channel, ie, for pulsed channel n, the cross talk is measured for channels n-2 and n+2. The cross talk data presented in the tables are calculated as 100 times the peak-to-peak amplitude of the cross talk signal divided by the peak-to-peak amplitude of the driving signal. (i.e., the percent cross talk). The format of the cross talk data is one line for each pincarrier slot:

serial number , slot number , data directory , min cross talk , max cross talk


The various entries are defined as follows:

serial number the serial number of the feedthrough
slot number the pincarrier slot number 1 - 15 a/b (each of the 30 slots has 64 channels)
data directory the basename of the directory where the data is stored on computer disk
min cross talk the minimum percent cross talk measured for the 64 channels of the slot
max cross talk the maximum percent cross talk measured for the 64 channels of the slot

Note that there are only 26 slots measured for HEC feedthroughs since four of the slots are occupied by LV power cables.



The Precision Resistance is measured for each channel, from the pincarrier at the ambient flange to the micro-D connector at the end of the pigtail. The format of the resistance data is one line for each of the two vacuum cable striplines of a pincarrier slot:

serial number , slot number , data directory , min R 1 , max R 1 , min R 2 , max R 2
