Minutes of the Testbeam Meeting, held Tuesday, January 7, 2003

 This was the first testbeam meeting of the year.

 EventDisplay:
 --------------
 Over the Christmas holidays, Tayfun had played with Sven's
 EventDisplay package and confirmed that it also works for data
 taken in 200 and 2001.
 Nobody (at UVIc) had looked into whether it is possible to plot
 any parameter derived from the Ntuple in the Event Disaplay.
 This questions should be explored.

 Dig. Filter for small signal:
 ------------------------------
 Michel expressed some worry that Sven's "poor-man's dig. filter
 for small signals" might have too many dependencies on other routines,
 like the signal height threshold given in terms of sigma (ie:
 it depends on how the sigma comes aout).
 Also: this fileter can be almost, but not entirely turned off.
 Even when the threshold is set such that it won't be called
 for regular events, it will still be called for "pathological" events.

 Meeting time:
 --------------
 Due to a conflict with Lecture times, the meeting day
 will have to change to Thursdays 11-12.
 Our next meeting will be January 16.



 Thigs to do:
 ------------
 - Margret will take care of having the latest CLHEP package
   installed at UVic.
 - Michel will find out about the dependencies of the
   small signal digital filter.
 - Margret will look into the contents of the HEC and EMEC
   standard ntuples.
