Checking out:
- First set CVSROOT in your .bashrc to /homes/cvs-atlas/cvsroot via:
- export CVSROOT='/homes/cvs-atlas/cvsroot
- Now you can check the code out:
Building:
- On dragon this is a simple procedure. Simply type 'gmake'
Run and modify:
- Open up UserALg.cxx and UserAlg.h with your favorite editor and
follow the example. Remember you can reffer to the TBRootAna Users
Guide, doxygen documentation and cvsweb anytime.
Manage your problems with cvs:
- Say for example that you've played with one of the files, say
ProblemFile.cxx, and managed to cause some problem that you don't
have the patience to figure out. There is a simple solution:
- rm ProblemFile.cxx
- cvs update ProblemFile.cxx
- If you would like to know exactly what files you've changed do:
- 'cvs diff' this will contact the repository and let you
know what you've changed without modifying anything.
- to know the diff for a individual file 'cvs diff
ProblemFile.cxx'
