Greetings ATLAS Canada colleagues,

The 4th ATLAS Canada Physics Workshop will be held at the University of
Victoria, December 11-12, 2006. The Workshop web site is

http://particle.phys.uvic.ca/atlas/events/PhysicsWorkshop2006/

The agenda is currently being worked out and a call for contributions will
follow shortly. The meeting will start at 10:00 on Monday 11 Dec 2006 and end
at 17:00 on Tuesday 12 Dec 2006.

The Workshop will be followed by a software tutorial, offered on Wednesday
December 13 from 09:00 to 16:00. Details are being finalized and will be
announce shortly. We are looking into the possibility of covering
trigger-aware analyses.

We need to know how many people will attend the meeting and the tutorial
to finalize various arrangements. Please register, it is free! Please
send an email to Ms. Lorraine Charron (lcharron@uvic.ca) indicating your
name and affiliation, and if you plan to attend the software tutorial or
not.

The meeting will take place in the Arbutus/Queenswood room in the Cadboro
Commons Building. Lunch will be provided on both Workshop days, as will
coffee breaks. The room will be equipped with a screen, a projector and a
speaker phone. Talks will need to be uploaded on the agenda prior to the
Workshop. There are many places on campus to have lunch on Wednesday for
those attending the tutorial.

For accommodation, we are recommending three hotels (see web site). Please
book by November 10th to ensure preferential rates. When booking, state
you are with the ATLAS group.

More information about the University of Victoria (parking, maps, etc.)
and information about travel to Victoria can be found on the Workshop
webpage.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact any one of
us. We are looking forward to seeing you at UVic!
