UPDATE to Bulletin 5 (below)

Greetings,

I finally figured out how to modify speakers affiliations without triggering the creation of a new Indico account... I have updated the agenda with (hopefully correct!) affiliations. A few errors were also corrected. A few talks were moved around to accomodate travel plans. Many thanks for your patience.

Please do not hesitate contact me if you have any comments, or find more errors, omissions, etc.

My (certainly incomplete) Indico understanding is that it is still a good idea for you to maintain your Indico profile in the best possible shape. This precludes agenda managers to have to manually correct your affiliation (as I just did).

To upload your talk you should just have to log into Indico with your own psswrd, as indicated below. Contrary to what I previously mentioned, you can also delete old versions of your talk. I have tried all this again this morning, and it worked. If for some reason this does not work for you, do not hesitate to use the manage psswrd: Canada. If all fails, please contact me.

Regards
Michel

Bulletin 5

Dear ATLAS Canada colleagues,

The workshop will take place Monday 11 December (starting at 10 AM) and Tuesday 12 December (finishing by 5 PM). Useful information can be found on our workshop web site

http://particle.phys.uvic.ca/atlas/events/PhysicsWorkshop2006/

A draft agenda is available. You can reach it from the web site, or directly from http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=5245

Please let us know if you have comments or find mistakes, omissions, etc.

Please note that you control the details of the display of your affiliation. If you want to improve your entry, you need to log into indico to change your profile. To do this, when on the agenda, click on the login button on the top right of the page. You will be prompted for a password. Then click on your name, then visible at the top right of the agenda page. This will allow you to modify your indico profile. When you do this, please send an email to lefebvre@uvic.ca so that the agenda can be properly updated.

If you did not have an indico account, you will receive an email asking you to register.

To upload your presentation, you need to log into Indico as explained above. At that point your entry in the agenda should have two active icons: one to enter minutes, and one to submit material. Note that you can only submit, not delete. So make sure your file has a version number! Indico is picky... if you run into problems, and if you feel up to try more advanced Indico features, the manage password for the agenda is Canada. Otherwise, just contact us.

Best regards,
Rob and Michel
