Minutes of feedthrough meeting of 10 October, 2000.

Present: GV, Pof, AD, MLef, RL, RKK, MLenc, MGF

*) Milestones:

	- ft01 has been welded and installed into the
	  cold-test station.  The pincarriers for ft02
	  were welded into their flanges on the same
	  day.  This exhausts our available stock of
	  pincarriers (aside from 2 extra 8-row).
	  Richard reminded us that we should arrange
	  with Chris for a site review by the time we
	  are building ft05.

*) Richard pointed out that LabView 6 is now being used
   for the LabView tutorials, and that we should obtain
   the LabView 6 upgrade asap.  One machine only should
   be upgraded initially so that our VI's can be tested
   before upgrading all machines.

*) Mark will produce a large feedthrough drawing to be
   placed in the lab before the NSERC site visit on
   Monday 16 October.

*) Mark is still looking for possible suppliers of wires
   for the ambient flange heaters.  CERN stores might have
   yielded some likely candidates.  

*) Richard informed Chris that UVIC is unable to proceed
   with the LV warm cable design given the lack of
   technical information presently available to us.
   This is an issue that the HEC conveners should address.

*) Albin Effernelli notified Roy that all future testing
   of VCR Tee's will be done with rubber or plastic 
   gaskets only.  This should eliminate the possibility
   of damaging the VCR seal face during vacuum testing.
