*) Milestones

	- The three feedthroughs (ft06, ft07, and ft08) built 
	  with the 24 pincarriers that arrived on 15 May
	  were completed on 14 June, taking a total of
	  23 days for completion (start date was 23 May).

	- Four vacuum cables arrived from FCI; still 232 to
	  come...

	- Six more shipping crates have been built by Dave Smith.

*) Chris Oram has provided a list of suggestions following
   his site visit on 29 May.  These are all in the process
   of being implemented into our QA/QC procedures.

*) We will perform some drop tests with ft-1 in its shipping
   crate this week to determine whether or not the bellows
   are at risk of being damaged by the bellows braces in case
   of rough treatment during shipping.

*) A quote was received this week from Axon for additional 
   pigtail jumpers and DC test harnesses.  We had requested
   a quote for two DC test harnesses, eight 50 Ohm pigtail
   jumpers, and two 25 Ohm pigtail jumpers.  Axon replied
   with a quote reflecting their minimum order:

	5	DC test harnesses	US$921 each
	5	50 Ohm pigtail jumpers	US$565 each
    or 10	50 Ohm pigtail jumpers	US$532 each
	5	25 Ohm pigtail jumpers	US$566 each

   No delivery time was specified in Axon's reply.  We will
   proceed with an order for ten 50 Ohm pigtail jumpers (no
   DC test harnesses) which will give us two complete sets
   of impedance matched (for Standard feedthroughs) jumpers
   plus four spare 50 Ohm pigtail jumpers.  The two DC test 
   harnesses were intended as spares; in a pinch, we could 
   manufacture these ourselves by cannibalizing the prototype
   LV vacuum cables.  Delivery time will be specified as
   no greater than three months.
