Minutes Of Feedthrough Meeting of 15 October, 2001 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ (Chaired By: AD) Present: ML, ASD, GV, FH, RK, MK MILESTONES * 12 October, 01 - 24 Pin Carriers arrived (12-7 row, 12-8 row) * 12 October, 01 - 104 Pigtails arrived (23-T51, 11-T49, 40-T47, 30-T48) * Feedthroughs 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, & 14 have been crated and are being picked up by King Brothers on 15 October, 01 * Feedthrough 16 was cold tested and passed electrical, Pressure, and leak tests * Feedthrough 17 was pigtailed * A QA/QC Document was created to ensure the proper shipping of feedthroughs before they leave UVIC. * 2 CRPP cables were visually inspected and cirris tested for Arizona, and are being packaged and shipped this week. * All Electronic and Vacuum testing equipment arrived at CERN last friday. * We have a continuing problem of sheets missing from the pigtail shipments. Michel is going to be in contact with Orseille and ask that a copy of the shipment be placed inside the crates. * On the 4 of February, 02 There will be a cryostat & cryogenic review held at CERN. We will need to produce some documentation for this review. Michel will be creating a list of the documentation that needs to be produced in the Lab. * The expected arrival date of 'Endcap C' at CERN will be 01 December, 01 * The unofficial arrival date of 'Endcap A' at CERN will be 01 May, 02 * There is a problem with the cable ties that hold all the pigtail wires together on each individual pigtail. The ends of the ties are sharp and are catching on other cables when feedthroughs are cabled. This problem is not noticeable with the shorter cables, but with the FCAL (4m long cables) it is really noticeable. The Tape used to hold the HEC Cables together seems to be a good solution. * On 22 October, 2001 Jamie Cassels will be visiting our lab from TRIUMF PLANS FOR THIS WEEK * Remove FT16 from the cold test station and perform the final electrical tests * Crate FT15 the fourth HEC Feedthrough * Check in and test the 104 Pigtails * Check in and Test the 24 Pin Carriers * Clean 021 AGENDA FOR NEXT WEEK - Milestones - Plans for the week - AOB Aaron Dowling TRIUMF / Department of Physics & Astronomy University of Victoria 3800 Finerty Rd.
