Minutes of feedthrough meeting of 25 February, 2002. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Present: Pof, FH, PB, RKK, WW, ML *) Milestones: - ft28 cold tests were completed (and passed). - ft27 and ft28 final tests were completed. - ft30 was pigtailed. A pin was badly bent during the process, so the pigtails were all removed and the cold flange was swapped with another. The pincarrier with the badly bent pin will be machined out and a replaced with a new pincarrer. - ft's 22, 23, 24, and 25 were shipped on Wednesday 20 February and arrived at CERN on Tuesday 26 February. ft's 20, 26, 27, and 28 are crated and will be shipped this week along with 25 bolt rings and protective covers, and all the o-rings and rf seals. - testing of pincarriers continues... *) Wendy will be guided through the database procedures and the offline-analysis procedures this week so that these tasks will be covered during pof and Fiona's absence at CERN (5 - 19 March). *) The feedthrough production rate can be reasonably well estimated now that we have a few months of construction under our belts after pincarrier deliveries became no longer the limiting factor. On 25 October 2001, we had 17 completed feedthroughs with two more in progress. On 25 February 2002, we have 29 completed feedthroughs with two more in progress. We have therefore built 12 feedthroughs over the last four months, averaging three feedthroughs per month. This is consistent with the production rate that we predicted earlier in the project.
