Minutes of feedthrough meeting of 8 April, 2002.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Present: Pof, FH, PB, AD, WW, ASD

*) Milestones:

	- final electrical tests finished on ft35

	- ft36 (HEC) was cold tested. It will have the
final electrical tests done this week, and then
	  will be shipped to CERN.

	- ft37 (Special) was cabled using the "suspect"
batch of vacuum cables from 27 Novemenber 2000.
One of the vacuum cables (vc2073) failed with
a channel-to-channel short (the typical failure
mode for many of the cables from this batch) at
the ambient flange end during the pre-weld
	  continuity/cross-channel short tests. The failure
occured only after the cold flange had undergone
the 90 degree rotatation prior welding; it had not
failed during the earlier assembly tests. The failure
was initially a high voltage failure (the low voltage
test passed). All subsequent tests resulted in
low voltage failures as well. The cable was removed
	  and replaced with another.

*) Laurent Serin notified pof that there are some pigtails which
in principle could be shipped to UVIC this week (he will double
check this today). Along with the 30 T52's (FCAL cables) there
are 10 T47's and 24 T48's that are being delayed (~ mid May)
due to missing micro-D connectors. The delay on those few T47's
and T48's should not pose any problem for our production
   schedule.

*) The Granville-Phillips vacuum gauge controller has failed
and has been turned over the electronics shop for attempted
repair (unfortunately no technical drawings are available,
only a user manual). This controller is used for the
Pirrani gauges of the cold station roughing lines and the
pincarrier cooler. Although somewhat awkward, production
and testing can be carried on without it.
