*) Milestones:

	- No new milestones to report.

*) Daniel Fournier sent the following note regarding the pollution tests
   on the replacement micro-D material:

     Dear Paul,

  As you remember we have been forced by AXON to accept a different
 material (LCP) for the last few microD connectors.
  This material is in principle better (radiation wise) than the one
 used for the bulk of  the production.
  In order to minimize risks,we however agreed to make a cold exposure
 at CERI,to check for any unforeseen pollution under neutron irradiation.

  We originally planned this irradiation for september.However,due to a heavy
 use of the CERI facility we have been asked to postpone this work until the
 first week of november.
  Keeping in mind that this irradiation is merely a safety check,we have
 accepted to postpone the run,and wanted you to be informed.

*) Wendy has updated the database so that all pigtails which contain the new
   micro-D material can be easily identified. 

*) Instructions have been received from Maryvonne Riandee and Christiane Eder 
   of ORSAY on how to return the four defective pigtail cables without having
   to pay the French VAT.  The cables should be sent out by the end of this week.
