Minutes for the meeting Monday 26, 1999. Present RL/PP/GV/MF/RM/AD/TH/RK 1. Aaron described his plan for maximum feedthrough production. He assumed 5 people working 35 hour weeks. The production rate was 3 weeks for 5 modules. Aaron pointed out that he needs microsoft project to make more progress. RK gave him his copy. Mike Rensing should make sure licensing is ok. There was a question of electrical testing times. PP will look into this along with Aaron. It was decided that a second iteration would be done optimising the schedule for a visiting welder. AD is working on this. 2. Rob reported on electrical test progress. He examined whether the multipulser system would identify the poorer ground contact caused by a weak bowing of the springclip. He could not see any effect for gold coated spring clips. RKK suggested he use an ADC instaed of the scope to achieve a higher precision. Scanner board now has computer control from Labview. The amplifiers on the scanner and on the manual-fanout board need to be calibrated. BNC is sending new components to stabalize the pulse height of the pulser. Low voltage jumpers have arrived from H. Brettel. IT WAS DECIDED NOT TO BUY LOW VOLTAGE KAPTON PROTOTYPE CABLES. They are too expensive. The exisiting teflon cables will be used for the tests with Horst. MF is designing a set of tests to do with Horst when he arrives after Snomass (after September 24). 3. Terry and Roy talked to the welding company, Tom Goldbach. Preliminary discussions are ongoing. Terry has contacted TIS to start discussions. 4. Roy has finished the interface drawing and has made it available to TIS. Bellows order is out. RFQ for seal and cuff rings is out. Expect to make a purchase requisition this Friday. Detail drawings will be finished by the end of this week. Assembly drawings will be ready by mid-August. A pigtail strain relief bracket will be added to the cold flange. 5. Vacuum cable contract in progress. A meeting by video is being set up for August 10 with Larry and Helio. 6. Glasseal has provided a production schedule. Bonnie has it and is including it in the accounting. 7. Next week paul will chair the meeting. Note it will be held on Tuesday. Happy BC day!
