Feedthrough Meeting August 30, 1999 at 10:00 Present PB/ML/PP/MF/MR/RK 1. Paul P is making up database tables. Michael hs purchased a database work and has started on a design. 2. The Fanout was tested by Michael and works. 3. Mark has the detail drawings finished. He has produced a schematic of the cables inside the bellows. The assembly drawing may be ready at the end of this week. Mark is finding places where there is no definite information yet to put on the drawing. He has been asked to make a list of these questions. 4. Remarks by the chair (RK): - The vacuum cable RFQ has gone out to STC and BERG. - We should have had a pin carrier delivery by now. Could Terry please check what has happened. - We need to know the height of the vacuum gland on the warm flange. Could Roy please finalize this with Pierre Paillier. - It was decided that Paul P and B and Margret would make work on finalizing the following production plans as the most immediate priority: a) Low voltage test week with Horst Brettel. b) Qualification cables from BERG. c) Assembly plan of preproduction items: - A mechanical only feedthrough for Orsay ( should have dummy pigtails). - A Pressure vessel section for TIS to test. - A feedthrough minus one (complete but regular stainless and old cables). d) Assembly plan for feedthrough zero - should be a real feedthrough but we will do it first to shake out problems. e) Assembly plan of production feedthroughs f) Official Quality Assurance plan for ATLAS
