Feedthrough meeting of October 15, 1999
Present: PB/GV/AD/MF/RK/MR

1. (PB) Progress & milestones
  - 3 cold funnels have been made by Specific.
         - leak checked ok.
         - visual inspection is good
         - tube for insertion tests has a thin spot.
Roy is making sure we have all the welding documentation and
certification from Specific.
  - 3 Prototype warm & cold flanges have arrived from Vector
    
  - A welding schedule has been worked out. 
            - Wait for Roy to get certification sorted out.
            - Need to know vacuum gland size - roy has asked Pierre again.
            - Need 2 days for welding. First day can be any time once
              the 2 problems above are sorted out.
              Second day needs a design for pigtail safety and
              we know if Aboud wants fake pigtails.
   
   - Received 7 new pin carriers. All passed leak check and one cold cycle.
   - First 6 nonleaking PC,s have passed three cold cycles.
   - Thermal test for LV cable heater was done and the data has been
     sent to Terry.
   - Paul is looking at water jet cutting of Rohacell.
   - A cold flange cable insertion tool has been made.
   - Go gauges for lower tube and bellows cuff have been made.

2. (RK)
  - Request MF extend the calendar of daily milestones.
  - Bellows should arrive next week
  - steel has not arrived yet (TH please contact Glasseal and the steel
    company)
  - Pigtails have not arrived
  - FCI Berg cables have not arrived ( BNL has received one ).
  - We have been billed for the 1st 8 pin carriers. I have not paid it yet.
    We should only pay for 6. I will ask Bonnie to talk to Accounts payable.
  - RFQ for HEC pigtails and LV cables is still delayed. (MF)

  - MF and PP need to decide what cables we will install in out FT-1.
