Monday meeting of feedthrough  --- December 20, 1999

1. Milestones and some news up to Wednesday December 13.
   - Mark got a new TRIUMF computer!
   - Warm flange steel arrived. It has been sent to EBCO. A
     vacuum port was updated on the drawing. We now have to live with
     the hole and weld prep that will be machined in - it is too late
     change at this point.
   - The last batch of pin carriers were leak tested warm and 
     cold cylcled once.
   - Rohacell PO out

2. Steel
   - We are waiting to see what other steel will arrive. There is no
     good understanding of what is coming. 

3. Lower Funnel pipe raw material has been shipped to ORSAY.
   SICOM is maching lower funnel pipes. They had trouble getting the
   inside and outside diameter to spec. Roy has gone to see them. 

4. FCI
   - Chris, margret and Richard visited the engineer and plant near
     Boston. It looks very good. The fixed charges 11.5k$USA have been
     agreed to and PO has gone to Berg.
         - We recommend signing the full contract with FCI.

5. Welding
   - A PR has been signed for welding coupons to qualify welds and
     welders.
   - Coupons are still needed to send to CERN a second PO will go out
     when we have the exact dimensions from TIS.

6. MR is setting up a vi for the contact resistance measuring device.

7. Vacuum port will be a 3/4 inch hole with inside warm flange face
   weld prep. The actual fitting is being sorted out by CERN. They are
   talking to Swagelock-Europe about a vcr fitting.
      - The warm flanges are now being machined. The hole and prep are as
        CERN requested.

8. The three bellows have returned.
   PR has been signed for production order!!!  $34,500USA.

9. Pof has asked Christophe for the scanner and fanout board designs.

10. Jan is testing the database. It should be in beta release very soon.
