Please note:
The reading room has been booked for Friday at 11:00am all the way
through until Christmas. Richard is keeping that time-slot free, so
he can attend the meetings after he switches to his new job.
If anybody has any problem with this time, please let him know a.s.a.p!
Ian, Margret and Richard
discussed the status and plans of the LArG4TB code. Ian and Margret
had several ideas of how to improve the code, but the implementation of
the improvements quickly snowballed and was made impossible because of the
way the rest of the code in the LArG4TB package is organized.
So there general consensus is to first do a thorough cleanup of the
existing code for the 2002 testbeam. There appear to be many relics
of old code that are superfluous or just very cumbersome. Getting rid of
those relics will make it easier to deal with the package.
Apart from the cleanup, the first big goal is to implement
CalibrationHits for the entire HEC and EMEC calorimeters.
Both detectors are dealt with differently in the code.
Margret will present goals and status of our UVIc efforts
during the LArg week in September. It will be important to get
feedback from the experts there. She has also arranged to get together with
Pavol during her stay at CERN.
