The LArG4 team of Ashok/Ian/Margret
was able to report that they were trying the compile the LArG4/LArG4TB
packages under Athena at UVic. There is one header file that doesn't
seem to link properly - it is not clear why.
Ashok said that for LArG4 it is important to run it from
within the LArG4Sim package (rather than LArG4App, which is for stand-alone).
The general strategy is to get things going at CERN first and
once it runs there, then install it at UVic.
Margret has also sent an email to Pavol for help.
Tamara
has almost finished her code modifications for the noise study.
she showed a plot of the noise in the cluster vs. the S/N cutoff,
and finds that at a cutoff of about S/N=0.1 the noise in the
cluster shows a distinct increase and remains level above 0.1.
Tamara's plans are to finish off the noise study and then implement the
results into an analysis with variable cluster-size.
For that she will have to dig into the details of Minuit fitting, as
that will require dealing with energy-dependent depth-weights.
Tayfun
is now in the process of writing his thesis. He will put in a push
during the coming week to finalize his plots.
