    This routine fills the run header variables,
    saves calibration & dig. filtering version numbers,
    energy units of maximum, shower model type,
    number of used adc channels and their values
    and some slow controls things.

    Then the run-ntuple and the slow-controls ntuple get filled
 
    (I am not sure whether I understand this, but I think all the variables
    that get filled, are stored in commons, and then the hfnt(ntup-number)
    knows where to pull them out again?)
