"I'm pleased to tell you that the HEC2 'A' wheel came to rest inside the
cryostat at 10:00 this morning (October 5th 2004). Preparations began
yesterday with the transverse alignment of the wheel with respect to the
'Top Key' position in the cryostat. The wheel was pushed as far as the
opening of the cryostat yesterday afternoon and the remainder of the
insertion was completed today. As with the other three wheels, there
were no problems encountered ...Everything went to plan.
The survey team have been notified. They will be available to begin
their preparations on Thursday afternoon and expect to finish by noon on
Monday October 11th."
