Basic setup

mkdir cmthome
cd cmthome

In the cmthome directory, there is the file
requirements
which contains
set CMTSITE CERN
set SITEROOT /afs/cern.ch
macro ATLAS_DIST_AREA ${SITEROOT}/atlas/software/dist
macro ATLAS_GROUP_AREA "/afs/cern.ch/atlas/maxidisk/d37/LArCalorimeter/soft_dev"
macro ATLAS_TEST_AREA ${HOME}/scratch0/work-13.0.40
apply_tag setup
apply_tag oneTest
apply_tag optimized
use AtlasLogin AtlasLogin-* $(ATLAS_DIST_AREA)

Then proceed with
cd ..
source ./13.0.40_setup.sh
