The road between Davos and
Susch,
in the Swiss canton of Grisons (or Graubünden),
passes over the 2383 meter Flüela Pass.
This is a very barren but interesting landscape.
A number of trails start from near the pass, including
a potentially interesting one that traverses above Val Grialetsch
to the SAC hut Chamanna da Grialetsch.
We passed over Flüela Pass on 1 August 2003 on our way to
Susch, and again two days later on our return trip
back to Geneva.
