FISH LAKE

Fish Lake [185 Kb]

Fish lake is in Top of the World Provincial Park, in the Rocky
mountains of southern British Columbia. The park is accessed
by a long dirt logging road which leaves Highway 93 just south
of Canal Flats. From the trail head just north of the park boundary,
the walk to the lake is very easy, with negligible elevation
gain. The trail reaches the lake near a cabin on the shoreline.
There are extensive high country roaming possibilities which
are possible from Fish Lake,
however we were content to just wander the trail which circles
the lake before returning to our car.
We did this walk in August 1998.
